Juanita Cohen Smith is a jazz and pop pianist with a remarkable musical journey. Born in New York City to a family of immigrants with Ethiopian Jewish, Cuban, Jamaican and Syrian roots, her musical training began at home under the direction of her opera-singer mother. Trained as a classical pianist in the best schools, Juanita discovered the jazz and pop vibe emanating from local clubs and was hooked for life. Now based in Eilat, this 92-year-old icon continues to inspire audiences with her passionate musical spirit.
